It sold for €258,750 (roughly ¥46.8 million by automesseweb's conversion) — a real premium over its original ¥5.95 million Japan list price, but well under Broad Arrow's pre-sale estimate of €450,000–600,000.
All Five R34 GT-Rs Sold Below Estimate
The M-Spec was one of five R34 GT-Rs Broad Arrow offered without reserve as an "Ultimate R34 Skyline GT-R Collection." All five sold under estimate, together bringing €1,517,000 against a combined pre-sale estimate of roughly €2.35 million to €3 million. The top result was a rare NISMO CRS-restored GT-R at €467,500. For a category often treated as a one-way bet, that's a useful data point: still a large multiple of the Japanese list price, but this particular no-reserve sale landed well short of Broad Arrow's own expectations.
